Resin sheds are assembled as kits, but an older shed may not come apart the way the manual describes. Sun and cold can weaken panels and connectors until they crack during ordinary handling.
Identify the condition
Photograph faded, bowed or cracked walls and roof sections. Note missing doors, failed hinges and any panel already pulling away from the frame.
Check the floor and anchors
Some sheds have a molded floor over a wood platform. Others sit directly on concrete or gravel. Show every visible anchor and state whether the platform or pad should remain.
Separate contents before panels move
Remove valuables and restricted liquids. Loose shelves, garden tools and bins should be included in the cleanout scope or moved outside the work area.
Allow for breakage
Reusable panels cannot be promised when resin is brittle. If saving the shed matters, say so before scheduling because careful disassembly is a different request from demolition and haul-away.
